Scan shows nothing and they assume that I have miscarried. I say assume because I wasnt sure of the dates but doubt that it would be that early that nothing could be seen on the scan iyswim.

I am sort of relieved but very saddened by it all at the same time.

Sorry to hear that madmarchhare. How far gone were you-ish? I know you weren't clear about your dates but what do you reckon?

Has everything come out or do you still have to wait for that? It's a tough time I know. Sad

7 weeks at most. They say there is no evidence of anything left but I havent seen anything either. I am slightly concerned by this.

I'm really, really sorry, madmarchhare. Sometimes the body 'reabsorbs' the pg, so you don't see anything on the scan. Do you mean they are saying the mc has, in their opinion, already happened, or are they telling you to wait?

I'm really sorry to hear this, what do you have to do now though? They found my ds on a scan before she was old enough to have a heart beat and I was told anything up to 6 weeks that can't really see a heartbeat?!?

Sorry, I mean I have been bleeding but havent seen any evidence of the pregnancy, the foetus or anything. I know we're not talking anything of any great size, but surely?

At what point would my hormone levels be expected to return to normal?

I coldn't find my first one either madmarchhare and I was unsettled. I mc-ed at 13 weeks, but they think it had died long before.

It's not an easy time for you.
Take care won't you? xx

the HCG hormone takes about 2 weeks to leave your body, take care x
