worried peoplle will think I'm rude

My dad died on Friday. People are being very kind and texting, leaving voicemails, inboxing me on facebook. All very supportive, offers of help etc But I am just ignoring them , I have no idea what to say and feel tterly anti social. I bet they all think I am so rude :(

They absolutely won't think that. I would not expect to have a text back at all, they just want you to know you are in their thoughts. Don't worry about that just concentrate on yourself.

I think you are allowed to react in any way you want - if you don't want to answer now that is up to you. If people don't understand that, that is their problem not yours. Most people just want to let you know they are thinkig of you - they don't expect a response.

Look after yourself - it is early days.
