spiritual churches or reptuable online psychics??

Has anyone gone to a spiritualist church and if so what was it like, and what did it involve? I am seriously thinking of doing this.

I believe whole heartedly in the spiritual world and the afterlife. I would like to get in contact with my mum who I lost 4 months ago to a sudden stroke, my best friend and the emptiness of her not around is huge some days. :-(

Just google spiritualist churches in your area, most have websites and will let you know about private readings, but its a good idea to go to a couple of the services first to see how you feel. They are really welcoming and enjoy seeing new people. Sorry about your mum, it's hard isn't it, I go occasionally and it's given me lots of comfort.

I would be very wary of online psychics and would be more inclined to go with a spiritualist church

Dont bother, after i lost my partner i sought comfort with Mediums and the like and believe me they were all charlatans. I spent hundreds as i was so desperate and in hindsight i gave them all the information about my dead partner and the rest was them cold reading.
The only good advice i heard the other day on the tv from a psychic called John Edwards whos based in America, was if you see a medium and they ask you a question you get up and walk out and refuse to pay. He says you do not feed the bears and a genuine psychic will not have to ask you anything and you should only give yes or no answers, nothing else!
Sorry to be brutally honest but from what i saw no one can talk to the dead and those that seem to no more than they should are brilliant magicians. Think Derren Brown etc...
