my father died 13 years ago today.. the same day as my eldest child was born 8 years before.

So many sad and traumatic memories from that sudden death but as time has eased the wounds, the memories I carry now are of the kind, intelligent, gentle,wise wonderful man who brought me up in a happy childhood.. always there to advise, console and just chat.
I miss you still dad but am so grateful for the time I had with you and the values you taught me, I hope you are resting and looking over me from above xxxxxxxx

I hope my dad has good company , peace, good health, and joy in his unique heaven .
I hope if he sees me struggle sometimes [atm], he realises that I am still myself, still idealistic and hopeful and will cope x
