I found out early today that my friend had a c section yesterday lunch to deliver her baby at 32 weeks as she had pre eclamsia. I spoke to her mum this afternoon, she told me mum and baby were fine. Just got a call to say her baby had just died. I have a one year old boy and just cant begin to imagine what she must be going through. What can I say when I see I?

There is nothing you can say that will change how she feels. When in doubt I find it is best to just be there and listen. Perhaps try and see her without your ds? I'm so sorry for her loss

Friend of mine lost a daughter and nearly died herself - all you can do is be there. Very sad
