Someone I know died this morning

She wasn't a good friend, she's someone I ...used to see at work, in the building, getting breakfast and lunch. Only young. Leaves behind two young boys, no dad around. She had stomach pains, turns out it was cancer of the liver that had spead to her lungs. Barely anytime from diagnsis to ...her not being here.
Keep thinking how mad that'll I'll never see her again, never chat to her. Won't really sink in and then it does a bit and I cry.

That's it really. couldnm't not share it with you realy.

Scary and very sad. Poor thing.

Its funny how the mind works as I was thinking about this this morning..what if something happened to me etc.

I remember when my dad died i was so upset then a few months later a mum at school died leaving two little ones,it so sad

TC - these things are really hard ... Her poor family .
On a more selfish note - it makes us realise our own mortality - so we must appreciate what / and who we have.

Thomcat,thinking of you,there seems to be so many Mums that have died recently.
I have similar situation here,a good friend died of breast cancer in July at 39,her daughter and mine are in the same class at school.So EVERYDAY at school pickup I think of her.
Its good to talk about this stuff,my outlook on life is so different now.
