In the same place choclab and sex on legs. Such a tough day as my first with my baby. Saddest things was talking to my 90 year old Gran - Mum's mum and wishing her happy Mum's day. DP is out all day but time on my own helps. Need to phone my Dad but not sure if I can

Funeral will really help sexonlegs as it start grief process. Kamuz I am so sorry and you sound like such an amazingly strong person.

Think will put baby in crib with Mum's kniited blanket on top and have a glass of wine for her. To all of you hugs

Big hugs to all of you without your muns. First Mother's Day without my mum too and only a week since losing all her jewellery and keepsakes in a burglary, so a mixture of sadness and guilt here :o(

First for me too. My mother died 7 weeks ago. I wobbled when we had a sale of gifts at school this week, and that is the first time since the funeral. I had a tiny wobble in church this morning but am generally fine.

for my daughter we had 'black with a splash' her request. Everyone wore black but added their own splash of colour, ties, scarves, shoes, flowers etc, it looked great and was a good mixture of the two codes. xxx

sorry that last post was meant for sexonlegs! I'm a few posts behind the times!

Sexonlegs · 04/04/2011 21:07

kazmus, that sounded a lovely idea. My dd1 (7) is wearing a black dress, with bright pink tights. I showed my Dad my dress just to make sure he was ok with it- seemed strange, as normally it would be Mum I would be getting feedback from!

I hope everyone had a reasonable day in the end yesterday.

We went to lunch, but it was a nightmare. The pub was so disorganised; we were waiting an hour before we had starters. The girls were pretty good considering how long it all took!!
