Searching for memorial for MIL - not sure of options?

Hi there,
My MIL passed away on Friday night (11/2/11). She wanted to be cremated, like her husband was 6 years ago. We still have FILs ashes and have not yet decided on a final resting place for them, or a place to scatter the ashes.

DH and his brothers would like a bench they can dedicate to them both, which would be a nice place to visit in their memory. We dont know where you can do such things.

Does anyone have any ideas along these lines, that would be suitable for the family to visit which would serve as a nice memorial?

Living in Twickenham area.
Any advice would be much appreciated.x

I'm really sorry to hear that Honeybee. I don't have any answers to your questions but didn't want you to go unacknowledged.

I think I would first of all work out what sort of place was special to them, and then take it from there. eg if they loved kew gardens, I'd speak to kew and if they loved eg a cliff walk I'd speak to the local council involved.
