the one you answer groggilySad

Dh's mum has passed away at her care home.

It's apparently being classed as an unexpected death so we're waiting for the coroners office to call usSad

I dread that call.

I am so sorry. We had a night waiting up for that call last year, and even though we knew it was coming, it was still awful.
I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks everyone. She was 93 so she had a good long life but she hadn't been ill so it was completely unexpected.

I've spoken to the senior nurse this morning and been reassured she didn't die on her own and that she didn't suffer.

I've had to tell Dh twice now that a parent had died, first his Dad and now, years later, his MumSad

She was the last parent between us tooSad
