I am not in a very good mood today and i am cancelling my wedding anniversary next year as all it seems to bring is bad news.
the yr i married (2 yrs ago today) my dad was rushed to hospital and exactly 3 months to the day i wed he died. still i can't get over losing my darling dad.
the following yr, (last yr) the day before my anniversary my closest friend who was dads friend was found dead in the street.
Today is my anniversary and i have had yet more bad news..... a friend of mine is in hospital with a brain tumor and i have just been told they cannot clear it. He will not make it through.
I am sitting here alone ds at school dh out and i am in tears. I want to go and see my friend but i don't think i could without crying.

Oh Vaunda, how awful.
Does he have lots of family around him?

Vaunda · 13/09/2005 10:14

Toothache,
his mum is elderly and lives out of london up north somewhere. His brother is in london as he is so ill. Mainly it is friends around him.
I am sitting here crying, how could i go and see him?
what makes it worse is that he is in teh same hospita that my dad died in.

Vaunda - I have no experience of this, but I'm sure he's not expecting everyone to bounce into the ward smiling and pretending everything is ok. Maybe it's okay to go see him and you both to have a cry?

Do you know how long he has to live? Will he be allowed out of hospital again?

Sad
Vaunda · 13/09/2005 10:21

toothache,
the problem is me...
i just don't do the whole crying thing well at all. It took me months to really cry over dad. Now to go and see my friend is going to be so hard.
