here on grief and grieving by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. I have only recently bought this, a year after my loss, and it is the best book I have read on grieving for a close loved one.

I am sorry to hear of your loss.

I can second that this is an amazing book. It felt very radical when first written in the 1960s, but it was required reading when I was at medical school.

Others have built on her work since then, but I am not sure anyone touches her clarity, compassion and insight. It is also very well written.
