DD is 2.8 and is still having up to 3 hrs sleep a day - is this average??

She is still going to bed at approx 7.30pm and sleeping through to 7.00am.

Should i just enjoy it while it lasts or should I be worried??????

My almsost 3 year old (3 in Aug) still likes to have a sleep - for 2-3 hours if allowed. Though I am trying to wean her off, reduce the time but very dependent on what we do during the day. She generally wakes about 8.30 and goes to bed 8.30 to 9.

never been a good sleeper hasnt ds.
Bed @8pm~6/7am
Up in the night sometimes 0 times mostly 2~4 times a night,
Sleeps 1 hour precisely in the day in his cot because i go and wake him up on the hour.
Things slightly better since i started this.

Ds is 2.3yrs, he sleeps for a minimum of 2 hours, sometimes 3, in the afternoon. He tells me at about 1pm "want to go to bed", then by about 6pm is saying "want to go upstairs for bath" - which basically means start the bedtime routine. He's in bed by 7pm, looks at books and chats to himself for about half an hour, then sleeps til about 7am.

I fully intend to encourage the daytime nap for as long as possible!!
