I was doing the weekly shopping with my 11 year old son in ASDA last Saturday. We got to the frozen turkey section and he was looking at this enormous frozen turkey that fed 15-18 people.

Suddenly his face dropped..... "Daddy - Is this really what it says?" Looking at the label, there were the words "Basted" turkey - which DS had taken to be a turkey without a father!!

DD1(3.9) spent all week telling everyone that she was raising money for poncey bear with me correcting her rapidly with 'yes PUDsey bear'

getting DD2 changed after her swimming lesson this afternoon she's busy watching the wee boy next to us putting his swim shorts on and announces in her VERY loud tones

'look mum, that boy has a foof too - a long foof, not like my foof - look, look at it'

didn't know which way to look but apparently the boys mother didn't either so good all round!

DD1 (3 next month) comes out with such funny stuff...

The last few days she has been saying "Ive had such a great day man.." like the "neutron" from Nina and the neutrons, with full Jamaican accent too!

Also loves to tell people that she has farted and asks if they can smell how good it smells

The other day whilst driving in thecar we saw 2 magpies. So I said

'One for a wish, two for a kiss, three for something better. I wonder what the something better could be?' I pondered...

DS1 - CAKE!

I threatened to 'duff you up' to ds2 yesterday. And he told me very firmly that he would "SMash Your Duffers"

This has become insult of the week. I now delight in threatening to "Smash your duffers!"
