Nick-name for lady bits

Hi

My dd is 17 months old, she's just starting to copy things I say. I call her bum her tooshie or her bum, but I'm flumoxed what to call her lady bits as "real" words are too grown up. My mum used to refer to "tuppence" when I was little, but this makes me gag as I just remember cringing when she used to say it! Any ideas - it really needs to be something that's not daily words. Was thinking "twinkle" but worried twinkle twinkle little star would be ruined.

It's a minnie with my DD, but does make me laugh whenever Minnie Mouse hoves into view.

DD is 2.6yo and we call them 'bits' too! Just naturally went on to use this term - as in 'wash your bits'!! Will probably use the same for DS when he's older, (he's only 2 months old!)

Never had a name for them in our house growing up, but have heard 'foo-foo' and 'faffanina' for girl's bits!! Never heard of flower or twinkle, though it made me smile!!

LDOMG, rofl 'peanuts' for boys bits!! Might have to steal that one!!

I hope daisy isn't a popular term, seeing that's dd's name!!!

just call it what it is, vulva, privates, bits or front bottom but please don't make up names for it, a flower is a flower don't confuse the issue it only perpetuates this idea that we have to be embarassed by our bodies and their names, if more people just called it my its real name we'd need less discussion about what to call it

Private bits in our house which has shortened to 'bits' - but during those curious conversations I do explain the proper word is a vulva for girls, and penis or willy for boys.

We call it minnie in our house - a friend of mine insisted on using vagina, which was fine until she was in Topshop changing room with her DS shouting 'mum I can see your gina!'

Mine was a 'willy-wop' as a child. No idea where that came from. Boys had willies, girls had willy-wops. DS has a willy, the whole general area is referred to as his 'bits'
A friend of mine used to call hers her 'magoo' which I think is hilarious.

I remember when I was a child i called it 'minge' and sanitary towels were known as 'mingy things' lol. Have no idea where that came from though.

My DS is a bit young but I just say willy, i think it sounds kind of cute

I remember minge! 'Have you got a fringe on your minge?'

i am ashamed to say dd (8) calls it her "pom pom" - no idea where it came from!

ds's have willies (so much more normal a word!) but even they say girls have pom poms!!

i'm sneaking away ashamed!

you don't really need a name. You don' t have a name for every inch of your body, do you? As far as I am aware there is no special name for the soft bit behind your knee for example

I had a little boy in my class who referred to girls's "bits" as "foo foos" which made me wonder what he thought when we sang Little Rabbit Foo Foo ...

Bits for everyday use lol and proper names when asked questions or discussing stuff

DD has bits and bobs, which worked well until someone got a song wrong in Big Cook Little Cook, and sang "bits and bobs will start to smell, if you don't wash them really well"
So now she's shortened it to bitsy's
The boys have willies.

My 2.6yr old has a 'gina. She knows that it's vulva really and that a 'gina (her pronunciation) is inside.

Can't bear all this minnie, flower, daisy nonsense.

My mom always called them 'groovy bits', for brothers and me. I do the same with DD- it's not actually inaccurate and doesn't make me gag!
