Blimey I don't know if I can hold it together for the summer hols

She is just a nightmare lately, stroppy, defiant, argumentative, know it all, winding up her younger brother all the time, causing arguments with him......argh I have had enough. Has been going on for a couple of months now.

She definately suffers from "end of term-itis" but usually by going down with colds etc.

Is this an age thing? I know its a stage but its horrible!! Tell me I am not alone and how you deal with yours!!!

Can anyone help me! My dd is 7 over the last few months she's been awful. To the point in on egg shells not to trigger these out bursts. She just screams at me. I try to be the best mum I can. I take her to school pick her up and she never greets me with a smile at pick up time. If she doesn't get her own way she will scream cry and shout. She's started pushing me. I don't understand. She has two little sisters and they seem happy enough. My husband works alot and he doesn't see it but he'll take just her places so she gets her own time. Where am I going wrong?! She's so good and golden at school and for everyone else but with me she just isn't?! Any suggestions welcome! Xx

Hi @Ceeh looks like you have posted on a very old thread. Doesn't really matter. Sound like you are having a rough time with your daughter. The only thing I would advise is actually sit and talk to her or try and get some one on one time so she can express how she is feeling. We are all so busy with work and housework etc that we forget to play and just talk. Maybe she needs you more than you think. If she's lashing out something could be bothering her. It's very hard x
