Yes yes I know I normally hate these boasting threads...

He's 3. Had no help or inspiration whatsoever.

What do you think?

FlappyTheBat · 21/07/2009 09:12

Future bridge designer?

brimfull · 21/07/2009 09:17

wow

melmog · 21/07/2009 09:18

Not sure genius is the right word. Good at building bridges perhaps??

Picante · 21/07/2009 09:19

Well there's good money in engineering so that's fine by me!

OP posts:
melmog · 21/07/2009 10:02

I'm hoping there's good money in splodging paint in a haphazard manner on my dining table. Modern art methinks.

HeadFairy · 21/07/2009 10:03

He's going to be an architect!

BernardsCat · 21/07/2009 10:05

no fgs
he has put a few duplo bricks on top of each other

Pennies · 21/07/2009 10:05

He certainly has en eye for symmetry.

muddleduck · 21/07/2009 10:16

I'm with BC - can't see what the fuss is about.
or perhaps this means my boys are both super-advanced-geniuses

caykon · 21/07/2009 10:29

My 2 did very similar things from about 2.5 onwards, so think its just normal development. It is nice to see them start to make more recognisable things.

SoupDragon · 21/07/2009 10:31

Er... no, he's not a genius.

Lifeinagoldfishbowl · 21/07/2009 10:33

TBH if you go into any nursery the 2 year old room upto pre-school will have things like this made by the children, where they just add the bricks together to make it look pretty.

cheesesarnie · 21/07/2009 10:37

tell him hes very clever.maybe not a genius yet but getting there

hippipotamiHasLost49lbs · 21/07/2009 10:40

Please tell me this is not a serious thread??

If you are deadly serious, then, errr, no, he is not a genius.
Nice bridges, but by no means outstanding or exceptional.

sweetfall · 21/07/2009 10:41

snort

You know this is what bricks are for don't you? This is such a funny thread because people are taking you seriously when you're obviously having a laugh

um - you are having a laugh aren't you?

BikeRunSki · 21/07/2009 10:47

I'm a civil engineer. Don't get exited, there's not that much money in it!

cheesesarnie · 21/07/2009 10:48

sweetfall

Supercherry · 21/07/2009 10:49

If this is a serious thread, I think they're good bridges, very symmetrical. Genius? Not sure about that as I don't have enough experience of this age group to know if this is out of the ordinary or not.

morningsun · 21/07/2009 10:50

aww I think they're brilliant
and he looks so cute and happy

Picante · 21/07/2009 11:32

Oh fgs of course the title was tongue in cheek!

I'm still privately impressed...

OP posts:
exrebel · 21/07/2009 11:43

I am impressed too Picante, very symmetrical, creative and very well stacked! I knew you were saying tongue in cheek. Can't believe some were quite keen to put you right about the genius delusion.

hippipotamiHasLost49lbs · 21/07/2009 11:44

Phew, am relieved now - I thought we had taken 'genius' to a whole new level!!

Great bridges though - and he is cute!
