Eye colour..was it what you expected?

My DH and I both have brown eyes, my DS's are blue (he's 2.4, so definitely their fixed colour now). His paternity is not in question, DH is definitely Dadddy (although my sis did ask, cheeky mare )...
So obviously a case of throwback genes...was wondering whether anyone else's DC's have different eye colour to their parents...

see that's the weird thing... both of my parents have pale blue eyes, yet my bro and I both have very dark brown eyes.
I can remember clearly arguing with my biology teacher at secondary school, who told me this wasn't possible and that my father couldn't have been my biological father!!
He definitely is,...unfortunately I look just like him.

I have blue and DH has green. Both DDs are the spitting image of him (DD2 like a clone) but DD1 has coloring from my side of the family: lt brown hair, dark blue eyes, fair but olive-y skin. DD2 has ALL DH: ginger hair, peaches & cream skin, green eyes. Luckily she has my ears so I'm fairly sure she's mine.
