Just want a quick reality check really. Ds1 is 3.5 and perfectly competent at getting himself dressed, apart from coats, zips and buttons. Getting him to do it without having to ask several times is another matter. Whilst I think it is expecting too much for a 3.5 year old to get dressed quickly and independently at the first time of asking, I do wonder how we can stop the endless nag, nag in the mornings without doing it for him when he's perfectly capable.
