I'm a bit concerned about a comment my 4 year old daughter made.

Hi, My husband and I took our daughter to see a friends new baby yeaserday. She loves babys and was behaving herself quite well, then she got a bit silly and was rolling around on the floor etc. She then went on all fours in front of where we were sitting and said giggeling, "touch my bum" followed by "touch my lady bit".
I was quite horrified and don't know what to make of it. Is it just her showing off and wanting to shock us? I'm worried what nursery will think if she repeats it there.
I couldn't really discuss it with her at the time. It just seems a very odd thing for a 4 year old to come out with. She has a very sheltered life, she's never seen adult T.V, she goes to an all girls school and is adored by all her family.
Please let me know what you make of this.

COmpletely normal and just a phase I think. I was worried last year when my 4yo dd started saying the same kind of thing. They mentioned it at preschool too, which made me worry even more. With dd I think what started it was the birth of her brother, and the subsequent fascination with peoples bits Its about 6 months since it started now and she seems to have forgotten all about it.
