Dd (2.9) is coming into our room at 6am - far too early in my book! I was going to get one of the bunny clocks to encourage her to stay in her room until later but they seem to have some bad reviews (noisy mechanism, tricky to set time). I just wondered what other MNers might suggest? Do they work or is there a different style that works a bit better?

We still have this which lights up. Has been going strong for 5 years as we had it for ds1 and now use it with ds2.

The problem with any analogue clock is because it is only 12 hours it can mean that you have to go in a reset it otherwise they "wake up" at 7.30PM rather than 7.30am if you put them to bed at 7pm!!

The one we have is digital 24 hour one. We have only just started replacing the bulbs too.

Babyzoo sleep trainer clock is fantastic i brought one for my granson this is a monkey called momo and it's eyes close when it's time to go to sleep and open when time to get up (you have to set the alarm time ) Two clocks Analogue and digital which is great for teaching the time also a lovely Jungle alarm noise not irratating like most alarm clocks, also battery operated.
i brought this from a great website called www.boutiquebabies.co.uk is has loads of unusual item's on there that you don't see in the shops

We use the gro clock for both of ours and it is only about £20 now on Amazon. The main problem we find with it is that it doesn't automatically switch between day and night modes, you have to manually prime it each and every evening which is a bit of a pain. We also use an Android app called 'Sun 2 Moon Kid's Trainer Clock' when we are camping or away from home.
