Just wanted an idea of when you potty trained your DS and when they slept in their own bed

potty trained: 2yrs 3 months(ish)

the bed thing... do you mean rther than sleeping in with parents? or do you mean in bed rather than cot?

Cot to Bed: 11 months
Potty Trained: not properly yet at 2.7, we are in a battle of wills at present. She knows how to do it, but won't because mummy and daddy want her to.

cot to bed with my 2.8 dd last week!
day 1 - spent 1 hour putting her back to bed
day 2 - half and hour
day 3 - 10 mins
day 4 - hurrah
as for potty training, OMG, see my thread, world of poo for incentive to keep them in nappies forever

DS - went into bed just before he was 2

potty trained 2.3

DD - went into bed about 22 months

potty trained 19 months (wanted to be like big brother)

Slept in own bed - can't really remember. Varied hugely - DS1 was about 20 months,because I needed the cot for arrival of DD.

Potty trained - all 3 DSs on their 3rd birthday. It is the law that you are not allowed to wear nappies during the day after you are 3. But you get a great party to compensate. DD potty trained herself when she was barely out of the womb.

2.0 for both. I would have liked him to stay in his cot a bit longer but he kept peeing through the bars.

always hated the cot so switched to bed at 15 months

potty training: a hahahaha hahahaha looks like NEVER. (is 2.8 now)

Can't be bothered to put dc3 into a bed at 22 months, he is quite happy, likewise he is still in nappies.

DS initiated potty training himself at 2y 4m - when I was 8 months pg and would have been quite happy not to do it. He just went into a bed last week (at 2y 6m) as we need the cot for DD soon.

DS1 went into a bed at 2.3 - mainly because DS2 was due a month later and I wanted to get DS1 settled in his new surroundings first and whilst I was on mat leave.

Potty training - DS1 is now 2.6 and is only just starting to show signs of being ready - will probably tackle it in April time when the weather is nicer

potty trained about 2.5 can't really remember. Slept in own bed about the same age.

potty trained 2.4 start, 2.5 reliable, 2.6 completely no nappies no accidents (or maybe one or two), bed 2.6 (he loved his cot - and now loves his bed, just not at 6 am... when he crawls in our bed.)

Don't know if DD counts...

Into cot bed at 18 mths (slept behind door for 2 months after that after getting up for a play, but never a crying issue. The cold nights soon put paid to all that )

Potty training started at 2.0. Still at the needing to ask stage, but don't mind as washing knickers is easier than washing nappies

Age potty trained - didn't do potties - went straight onto a loo with an adaptor thingy - DD 20 months, DS 2 years
Age slept in own bed - DD and DS both when they could walk.

DD - cot to bed at 2 years almost exactly because I moved house and couldn't be bothered to put it up again for probably just a few more months!
Potty trained at 2.9 over night! She was ready sooner but my circumstances didnt really allow it.

DS1 - cot to bed at 17 months because he started climbing out of his cot.
Potty trained by 2.6, wees were a few months earlier than this but took a long time before he stopped wanting a nappy on to do a poo in!

DS2 - cot to bed a couple of weeks ago at 21 months because he suddenly decided he hated his cot. We had a few nights of playing around with ds1 for an hour or so after bedtime but he now goes straight to sleep.
Potty training not started yet but he is showing signs of being ready so we may get the potty out soon and see what happens...

DS1 - Own bed at 2.4 as brother was 5 months old and needed his room (which meant my DH had to sleep back in the marital bed rather than the spare room!)

DS2 is now 2.1 but can't see him in a bed anytime soon he still turns himself upside down and would defi fall out.

DS1 - Potty trained at 2.5

Again seems to me his brother will be later than this. I have tried with potty as he can accuratley tell me he is going to do a poo but freaks if you say potty to him.

DS potty trained day and night at 2.5yo.

I put him in a big bed at same time becuase thought it was unfair to have him stuck in the cot unable to get to the potty should he need it.

That was the moment his sleeping went up the swanny.

Potty trained : 2.11 though now 4 months later reverting to alot of 'dribble' accidents through stubbornly insisting on waiting for last minute.

DS1 in own bed at 22mths when we needed cot for dd1. Toilet trained at around 2.8yrs.
DD1 in own bed around 2yrs, toilet trained 2.3yrs.

DS2 (almost 25mths) still in cot, waiting for ds1's new bed to be assembled so he can have the toddler bed with new mattress. Will start to toilet train in the summer although I think it'll take him quite a while to get it.
DD2 (almost 25mths) also still in cot, ready to take sides off at same time as her brother. Will also start toilet training once weather improves.
