PLease please tell me what to do. My DD is 2, and has picked up an awful awful word from her older brother and his mates. I am devistated. She starts play school next week what if she says it there? She has been on naughty step after saying it, shouted at, ignored, all the usual. I am so embarrassed. PLease tell me how to make her stop!

Further to previous message, I was driving around in a car park today with DS1 aged 3 looking for a space - couldnt find one. DS1 said 'oh bloody hell'. I said that's a rude thing to say. He said well, granddad says it.... You have to laugh really.

When my brother and I were little (about 30 years ago), my mum used to wash our mouths out with soap if we swore. We were so innocent, I think we were only repeating stuff from playground rhymes etc but it made no difference... it worked though, we didnt swear again. Do any mums still carry out such draconian punishments???
