1 year old ds not crawling

I know not to worry but easier said then done. My 1 year old ds is still not crawling he makes half hearted attempts to reach something then seems to decide didnt want it that much anyway and plays with something closer. When I talk to others they say 'dont worry but my ds/dd was walking by 3 months etc'. Has anyone else had late crawlers etc - do they catch up? Will he be behing on other things or is this no indication? Sorry about all questions but promised myself not to be worried until he turned one - he now one. He also has no interest in standin.

Hey, now the fun starts, lol! Mine only bum-shuffled til 14 and 16 months respectively - no problems with either, and the later one now climbs like a monkey and is quicker than the wind! So nice to hear how a story develops here when it starts as a worry - best wishes to you x

I have had the same problem. My son is one today and has no desire to crawl or walk. He will turn around on his bum but won't do anything else. If you try to make him stand he just keeps his legs up and won't put them down.

I guess from what I have read I will just have to be patient.
