Will we ever see him again?

He packed a tooth brush, and a clean pair of pants in a lunch box size suitcase, (no need to PJ's as he will sleep in his t-shirt and pants, apparently) and phoned granny to come and collect him. (Which she did)

All because DD wanted to sit at his place during luch, then wouldn't let him have the pink cup.

Still haven't heard from him.

I'm missing him now - I think I might be the first to crack.

Mum told me that aged 2.5, I'd been very taken with the bunk beds that they had been thinking about buying to accomodate my brother and I. A few days later, a neighbour knocked on the door, pointed down the road and asked mum if the rapidly disappearing figure halfway down the road was her little girl.

She was 8.5 months pregnant so couldn't run after me. Luckily Dad was home, got in the car and caught me.

I was on my way to the shops with my piggy bank, containing the grand sum of 23p, to buy 'donker beds'

He'll start missing you soon.

He's just phoned to ask if he can stay another night. I've missed him so much today! Will make a fresh PJ drop off after tea.

Lynette, this has made me lol! I have such an image of him heading off completely disgruntled and see him as something of an incredible hulk character having to keep moving when things go wrong! It also made me wish my Mum didn't live in Ireland! Bit far to run away to unfortunately.

LynetteScavo · 08/08/2008 18:02

Oh, he was disgruntled alright! He is indeed like a miniture Hulk. When he gets angry, he gets really angry. Granny took him out for the day and let him have a donkey ride and an ice-cream. No wonder he doensn't want to come home.

Ahh lucky boy and lovely granny!

This reminds me of the episode of little bill when he decides to run away and his mum says he'll need a bigger bag as she has to put her things in as if he is leaving she's coming too, then daddy says he's coming too, then his two siblings and finally granny and when they are packed they are stood at the front door and little bill decides it makes better sense for them all to stay at home
