My 5 year old is bright, funny and curious. He had lots of friends at nursery and seems to have made new friendships in reception. The issue however is his behaviour. We've had five or six calls now from the class TA or less often the teacher reporting poor behaviour such as pushing a friend/ making an unkind comments or not doing what the grown up says/ talking during carpet time. We always talk to him about this and reinforce key messages about what is acceptable and what isn't. We haven't "punished" him at home as his recollection of what happened is often vague and by the evening what happened that morning seems a long time ago but I am beginning to think we should as the calls are continuing. Any advice?
