My baby is 6.5months old and I’ve noticed she always puts her hand/s in her mouth when excited.
I understand babies use their hands to explore and often at this age that’s normal for them to be in and out their mouth but this is in specific response to something when she is happy or excited, her fist/thumb go straight to her mouth and she’ll smile and coo whilst it’s in there.
Is this normal? My first never did this that I can remember and everything feels new again.
