Is it harmful for a two-year-old to still have a bottle?

My 2 year old son is still having a bottle of milk in the morning & evening, in a bottle. He drinks water in the day in a sippy cup. We have tried everything for him to have milk in a sippy cup but he just refuses. Bought multiple sippy cups which he is happy with water but not morning or evening milk. We then went cold turkey on milk but he cried and was so upset & unsettled because of it.

I'm happy to try & drop the morning one but I like the cuddles & it's his bed routine.

He has sippy cup other than I mentioned. Is it bad to keep him with a bottle for that one/two drinks?
Any advice to wean him off it? He is a extremely defiant boy

I’d drop the first one and then see how you get on. Are you cleaning his teeth after his bedtime bottle?

It can only become an issue if not brushing teeth after the bottle? Can cause tooth decay/bottle caries.

Yes, I'm brushing his teeth in morning after bottle & evening after bottle. I think I'm going to stick to his morning & evening as he's quite happy with food & water in his cup. I was reading the literature & not reading Mumsnet when it seems to take a bit longer to remove the milk & bottles
