Fussy with food

Hi
my 6yr old had a fall school and grazed the side of his face and got a bump on his forehead which bled.
we went to A&E and he had a steri strip and a dressing on the bump.
Since then he can’t swallow food he chews and spits it out.
Also he is not drinking as much as before. Should I be concerned.
I am trying to get an appointment with my GP.
Anyone had similar experience.

I’d take him to the dentist and get them to check his mouth, especially if hes grazed the side of his face.

I know he’s not drinking as much as normal but would he drink something like full fat milk, banana and some berries made into a milkshake?
