My 6 year old daughter & her hideous attitude

daughter is almost 7. To paint a fair picture of her, she used to be so bloody shy then the last 2 years you can’t shut her up. She’s very emotionally mature. She’s quite sensitive too. The last few weeks her attitude has been awful. Answering back, shouting, answering simple questions with shouting at me. I.e, ‘DD have you brushed your teeth?’ ‘YES OF COURSE I HAVE!!!!’ Honestly I don’t tolerate any of this, I discipline her etc but it’s not helping. She’s lovely 50% of the time. Helpful, very thoughtful etc. But when she’s not, it’s hard, hard work. And I feel like all I do is repeat myself lately.

Anyone know what approach is best to take from experience? Or any useful useful magazines/websites I can direct DD to that are age appropriate & may help her attitude?!

If she shouts “yes, of course I have!”, how do you respond?

I say ‘You don’t need to shout at me, we don’t shout at each other, there’s no need for it’, etc etc

She doesn't sound emotionally mature!
