Worried about my 8 month old, she seems so frustrated!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

Just wanted to get some advice / reassurance, perhaps I'm just fixating because we're home more with it being Christmas!

Little girl has always been hard, she had bad colic until about 4.5 months old and has CMPA.

The last few weeks have felt particularly challenging. She seems so frustrated all the time, lots of grunting, whining, arm flapping / banging. We can distract her for a bit but pretty quickly she'll be back to whining. She's not finishing any of her bottles, barely had 500ml yesterday.

She used to love the pram, went out the past few days and she's just whined the whole time and arching her back like she wants to get out.

She's sleeping well and enjoying solids but it's been non stop with the frustrated behaviour, it's really tiring and upsetting that I can't seem to make her happy!

She currently has 4 teeth and I think another 2 on the way (incisors) but she's not been like this with her teeth before and we're keeping on top of pain meds.

She's trying to crawl, rocks a lot on her all fours and can somewhat drag herself around with her arms. Her fine motor skills are amazing though.

Did anyone else go through a similar stage? Is she just super frustrated at her lack of movement?

It might be frustration at learning a new skill, it could a reaction to the milk, I know I’m cranky wheb I’m having a reaction, it could be frustration at not being able to communicate. Have you thought about teaching her some signs?

@SleafordSods the signing is a really good idea, we'll work on that! Thank you
