What age did your DCs stop having a bath every night?

Just that really. DCs are 5 and 7 and like a shower in the morning now. Seems a bit daft to bath them every evening too. DH might disagree as that's when he gets to natter to them.

have never given nightly baths. once weekly and top and tail if grubby. too much washing can exacerbate dry skin, and strip natural oil

DS has nightly bath always. He is BLW and eats..um...enthusiastically and expressively, so there is usually banana/bolognese sauce/yoghurt in his hair and all his crevices! He's almost 13mo.

I don't think DS or DD have ever had baths every night. They are 4.6 and 2.8

Mine has never had a bath every day unless she is really hot or mucky . I figure the parts of her that get dirtiest (hands, face, bottom) get washed all the time, and the rest doesn't need a daily dip.

My 3yr old only has a bath now if he has not jumped into the shower with me that same morning.
And I think he gets his hair washed about once every two weeks! But he really, really does not seem to need it washed any more....

He does not need the bath as a bedtime routine thing anymore, I think he's old enough now to deal with going to bed without rituals to get him there.
