My daughter is nearly 3 and has recently developed a fear of aeroplanes/helicopters flying overhead. Every time we're out (which is a lot as it's summer) and one flies overhead (which they do frequently) she gets very scared, cries hysterically and runs for cover. Thsi was triggered by a trip a month ago to a steam rally where there were helicopter rides, and a helicopter flew right above us. She was petrified and has been so ever since. The phobia isn't helped by the fact that she has severe speech delay and possible verbal dyspraxia so reasoning with her is tricky. Anyone got any advice please as I'm starting to dread going outside!
