Worried about baby movement/seizures - 7 weeks

I'm a ftm and terrified about infant seizures, basically.

My baby does a couple of weird things - arching (when she's upset, usually during witching hour or when she's been awake for too long), occasionally eye rolling (which my mum says is wind and only ever when she's drifting off in my arms).

But she also does a sort of gurning action with her face and one arm. It's a bit like she's stroking her face and grimacing at the same time. It only happens once at a time (not a cluster) and is seconds long so can't record it.

It happens a few times a day and until I started reading about infant seizures I think I thought this was just her weeing face. I haven't been able to check the nappy quick enough to see if it really is her weeing face - but it's the same movement every time she does it. If it were an adult I'd say it was more like a tic than a spasm.

I think I'm after reassurance - she's a grumpy baby with occasional periods of happy and then a solid witching period every day. She's been doing this for a few weeks and is otherwise developing normally - social smiles, feeding well, putting on weight, stronger neck etc.I do have a doctor's appointment for baby (for unrelated reason) in a couple of weeks but I know seizures are a medical emergency.

Babies do do weird things, but I’m not sure anyone on here can properly advise - have you asked your midwife/health visitor? Best advice I can give is to try and film it if at all possible so you can show your doctor. And if you’re worried try to get an earlier appointment so that hopefully you can get some reassurance
