Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some ideas and strategies to help guide a 4 year old boy who's showing some challenging behaviors. He's in preschool, and when things don't go his way, he tends to scream, get angry, throw toys, and occasionally raise his hands(yesterday raised to his key person) - Although this is only his 3rd instance since september. Lately, we've also noticed a pattern of frequent lying though it often comes with a smile that is both cheeky and endearing!
I want to address these behaviors early to prevent them from becoming habits as he grows. Has anyone dealt with similar situations? What approaches have worked for you in managing anger and reinforcing honesty in young children?
Looking forward to your insights!
