My almost 8 year old touches herself a lot, which I know now to be normal behaviour for her age, but what bothers me and makes me extremely uncomfortable is that she'll do it whilst pressing up against me in bed at bedtimes etc. she's very curious about my breasts and has been for the past year or so. I had a breast enlargement last January, so it's completely understandable she'd be curious etc, but she started making me genuinely uncomfortable as I've caught her peering into the bathroom watching me in the shower, she stares and makes comments when I'm getting changed (so I've stopped getting changed etc around her), and makes lots of comments about private parts in general . I've explained so many times that it's inappropriate. I have a 10 week old baby now too, we've just done bedtime with me and baby in bed with her for a cuddle, and she's been touching herself whilst cuddling us. I've had a go at her for it, which I now feel bad for as I'm sure it's harmless, but it makes me uncomfortable and makes me worry.
I have recently found out that she knows what sex is due to YouTube videos (no judgement please) (editted to say that she doesn't know exactly what sex is, but she knows the word) ... YouTube is blocked now.
Someone please tell me this is normal, and how to stop it being inappropriate.
