Hi,
It might be a silly question but I have been puzzled by it for some time so really appreciate if people could share some experience.

My son is 14 month old and recently I have noticed that his body is growing faster than his legs. He wears size 12-18m for tops but for trousers, he can do with 9-12m size. When he stands it actually looks like his body is longer than his legs. Is it normal? Do baby's body and legs grow at different speed?

Yes different parts of the body grow at different times. For babies growth starts from the inner parts of the body and works it's way out (torso first hands and feet last)
The opposite then happens as teenagers where growth starts at the hands and feet and torso is the last to catch up!

Yep my daughters arms grow first then her legs then her torso.
She's in a mix of 18-24, 2-3 and 3-4 clothes depending on where they fit. She outgrows t shirts last

Thank you both for the response, very helpful, looks like I don't need to worry if he has been growing disproportionally ;D
