im probably being very PFB, but if you pull him up by his hands from a lying position he will stand up and if you hold him in a standing position he will try and take steps forward, he is 10 weeks old.

nurkmaiggy- you can borrow my wee monkey-he loves performing for people showing off how he can walk and he adds a wee skip in too on occassion

i too thought they lost the "walking" reflex by about 8weeks. DS has always wanted to be on his feet and even from a newborn, hated lying flat. now at 7months he is pulling himself up and taking his own weight. maybe your DS just wants to be upright where he can see more

he still does it, and it is weight baring, he loves being held up but i have olive oyl arms and get tired of it before he does.

ds certainly doesn't take after me, i didn't walk until 18months or so because i would send my doting older sister off to do my bidding
