Can a 6mo be fat?

I ask as my mother has described my dd as such. I'm really with her. DD is 6.5mo and is on the 75th centile for both weight and length. But her thighs are these lovely, squishy, chubby things and mum's commenting on it now. I have major hang-upd about my own weight thanks to my mother and I'm now worried that dd's fat.

Blimey. My DD was on the 99th percentile, a lovely round legged and round armed thing. She's now 18 months and I don't know what percentile she's on (we gave up on the weighing thing at about five months) but I do know she's going down in clothes sizes not up as she scarpers around at fifty miles an hour. It doesn't matter how much they weigh at that age providing they aren't too skinny.

Pay no heed. You are obviously raising a gorgeous well cared for baby
