My son is almost 4 and after hearing a loud thunder storm around 4 weeks ago, has become scared of rain and wind. He is obsessing over the weather and asks me all the time what the weather is going to be like. He'll wear his hood all the time even when not raining. He used to love the rain and splashing in puddles. He's also starting pulling on his ear a lot. I've tried explaining the different seasons and explained why rain is important to plants, trees and animals. He has also become more clingy with me.
Any tips or advice very welcome. Tia
