3 year old - some terrible behaviours and don’t know how to stop it

He’s my 3rd so you’d think I would know what to do by now but he really is wild child and so different to my other 2. Nothing I’ve done with them in terms of discipline or teaching works with him. He has some awful behaviours and habits that’s really causing the family a lot of stress and I need some guidance on what to do with a just turned 3 year old who DOES NOT LISTEN.

  • chews food and throws it out on the floor from his mouth. Every single meal. Every single snack. It drives us all mad let alone the fact that it create so much mess that I simply don’t need. I’ve tried to remove the food immediately when he does it and not give it back. I’ve tried explaining calmly we don’t do that. I’ve tried to be more stern with a tougher voice that it’s unacceptable. He just keeps doing it.
  • throwing things. Again, tried all the usual strategies as above. He still throws. I’ve just ordered an indoor basketball hoop and a football post so that he can throw balls in the hope that he does more of the throwing he’s allowed.

nursery says he is perfectly behaved there, never an issue etc. it’s like he comes home and releases himself on us.

any help would be highly appreciated.
