How do you make your babies laugh?

DS has the most gorgeous giggle but I have to jump through hoops to hear it. I am exhausted from jumping around, bouncing on the bed and generally acting the fool and sometimes I only get a wry smile!

I did the scarf thing too. For hours. Flap it about a bit then run it gently over their faces and they absolutely crease up. Gorgeous!

Sit dd on sofa with a big box of tissues for ripping and throwing and let the giggles commence!

my baby loves it when hes laid on floor and i throw a towl up in the air still holding it so it floats lands on his body and he starts laughing and flapping his arms about. He likes being tickled too and pretend throwing, throwing him up in air, yawning and if i laugh he laughs too. Sometimes he is easier to make giggle than others. I love to hear him laugh xxxxxxx

Holding dd (8m) in my lap sitting outwards, lifting her legs and waggling them - and moving them in time to my legs from side to side (lifting my legs up a bit so she can see them IYSWIM) Don't know why, but this has worked consistently for about two months.

Right I am going to try some of these but now suspecting that my DS is a particularly tough customer (4.5 months). When I find something new that makes him laugh, the next time I try it he just goes "humph". The Simon Cowell of the baby world.

I love those clips on you tube. Have you seen the baby who keeps falling over then getting v.mad and shaking his fist? I'll try and find it..DH going mad as he wants to go out!

DH tickling DD's feet with his stubbly chin always works for us!

Go to the top of the stairs and run down when someone else is holding DD at the bottom of the stairs. Add a "weeeee" sound - works every time!

DS (7 months) loves me pretending to eat his tummy when I hold him high above my head.

I blow raspberries on her tummy
