11 month old scared of babies

My baby goes to daycare has for 3 months and is still overwhelmed by all the other babies. He cries if any of them come up to him or invade his personal space. Did anyone else’s baby go through this and did they grow out of it?

How old is he? Age and their growing interest in socialisation make a lot of difference here. I didn't not experience this, but then did have twins so 'personal space' was not much of a concept for them!

He is 11 months old now and started daycare when he was 8 months old. The daycare teacher said she hopes it might change for him when he’s walking because most of them are a little bit older and walking around too. Crossing my fingers but might mention it to the GP
