Toddler clenching jaw and tensing. Excitement/anger

Hello, my 15month old has for the last month got a habit of clenching her jaw or almost bringing her bottom teeth forward, tensing her body and sometimes fists when she is excited, frustrated or sometimes randomly. I’ve seen some old posts about this on here but nothing recent. Anyone who is or has experienced something similar? Is this normal? Bit worried :-/

This is such an old thread I know, but did you ever get to the bottom of it? My two year old is doing the same!

She still does this. How long has your two year old been doing this for?

Probably 2 or 3 months? Seemingly out of nowhere, I don’t remember him doing anything like that before this. Any idea what’s going on? Does she have any other funny quirks? I don’t even know how I’d show it to anyone (like a professional) as I can never predict when he’s going to do it!

Not really. Her speech isn’t as good as her sisters was at her age but she’s only 18months so I’m not too concerned. Yeah -it’s not easy to guess when in order to record and show professionals. Was hoping she’d grow out but still does it.

Hey, know this is an old post but was looking it up and this is the only thing I’ve found similar. My baby started doing this when he was about 6 months old but only now and again but he’s turned1 nearly 3 weeks ago and the last week he’s been doing it more and more. Is your child still doing this? Has a doctor said anything about it? Xx
