Hi, I have a 16 month old boy and I can't lie I think I've been a bit obsessed with his milestones and development in general, scared that he's autistic and I might miss it and it will be to late to help him.
He started saying his first words like duck, eat, mama, dada, pai is Portuguese for father, he's also able to mimic like peekaboo, some little dances from songs but he doesn't play pretend, he never calls for me or his dad, he doesn't point, whenever I try to point to something he just stares at my finger.
Also when I call his name he only looks at me 40% of the time or less. He can't seem to make eye contact with me unless I sing a song that he recognises.
He has a lot of tantrums for the most smallest things, I know he's still small but I can't help to compare him with other kids same age as him.
Am I overthinking, please I'm really tripping over here :(
