Daughter jealous of poorly brother

Hi all, sorry could be a long one.
I have a 7 year old daughter who is a mare at bedtime, but also I have a 5 year old son who has congenital heart disease and is in and out of hospital for procedures.
My daughter won't go to sleep unless I sit with her until she drops off, even then when she wakes in the night she comes and gets in our bed so that'd my first issue. 2nd issue is she seems to get very jealous of Matthew, for example he has a heart procedure tomorrow at the hospital, we have explained it to her to keep her in the loop so to speak but at bed time she started screaming she had a sore bum and needed to go to the hospital. I feel like she craves comfort and attention as though she is jealous when he is due to go for procedures and appointments, but it just makes me frustrated and I end up shouting at her for faking it, but then I feel bad and think she must be doing it for a reason. She does naturally get more attention than him on a daily as she craves it where he is easy going.

Any advices

I have no advice but just wanted to wish you the best for today.

Once your DS is beginning to recover from the operation it might be worth asking your DD's teacher if they have any concerns about your DD, especially regarding how she is socially and how she deals with her emotions.
