My just turned 6yr old son since coming back from February half term has done a complete 180 and going from being so good at school to not listening to the teacher, refusing to do work, isolating himself from the class and kicking occasionally other children in the class.
He has had a couple of instances where a child in his class said something quite horrific about hurting my son and also my son's dad and another child slapped my son round the face and left a red mark. The teacher is a friend outside of school who my son has known all his life. And since these instances that have happened to him he is ignoring the teacher every day! I am getting calls or messages on a daily basis for the last month to say how he isn't listening, standing up, making noises and doing things in plain sight as though he wants to get seen to get told off.
At home he is the complete opposite and behaves as a 6 year old would! I have no idea what to do as I feel let down by the school.....
