4 month old cries/fussy most of the day

My 15 week old baby girl has always been a fussiest type baby but it was manageable. If I walked around I could calm her. At 6 weeks she ended up in hospital quite ill with a uti and was on alot of antibiotics. Since around 9 weeks her crying/fussiness has increased. Its getting quite stressful as it's also getting harder to settle her. I thought as the weeks went on it would be going the opposite way and be getting a little easier not harder. I'm finding it hard to see passed this fussy phase and dread what the day ahead will be like with the crying each night. I don't think it's colic, do I just have a fussy baby? I just want something to cling onto that it will get easier.

OP my little girl was just like this I remember thinking isn't she meant to be getting easier but 4 months is still very young they can't communicate their needs she may be frustrated if she wants to start sitting up or something or going through a developmental leap. Obviously worth going to GP just to rule out any discomfort she might be experiencing but otherwise it she will hopefully improve / calm down with age. I found my 6 YO impossible until at least 3.5 !

Thank you @scrabbledabbl really appreciate the reply. She has been a bit better the last 2 days so hoping with time things will improve, have to try stay positive.

They will improve, sadly I don't have a crystal ball to prove it but you will see with time yourself 😊
