Severe autism signs in your baby?

Hey, anyone have a child with severe autism? Or a non verbal autistic child?
What signs did they show as a baby? My girl is 15 months and showing lots of signs. No eye contact.. no functional play.. can't crawl or walk... she doesn't talk, limited babbling, no stranger danger, rocking, flapping, lots of repetitive movements with certain part of a toy, won't eat textures or lumps, very fussy with food, small for her age, low muscle tone, global developmental delay.

I think mine has most of those apart from the crawling and walking. Has she seen a Paediatrician yet and is that why you know she's got GDD?

I would really recommend checking out the SN Children Section too. The oysters in there are usually lovely and supportive Flowers

@PinkMimosa hey, yeah she's already been seen by one and assessed. It's difficult with her because she does have some good qualities too. She puts her arms up to be held and can say mama from time to time. She does look at me and she does smile/laugh. She loves her toys and loves peek a boo. It's always hard at this age. Iknow she has autism deep down but you never know the severity of it .... xx

Just wondering how your baby is now? Are they still showing signs of autism?

Thanks x
