I'm new here, so bear with me. I'm a super busy working mum, and honestly, sometimes it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day. Between work and home, I sometimes feel I barely get quality moments with my two kids (aged 5 and 7 respectively).
I've been wondering how you all manage to squeeze in those important chats about feelings, especially with such hectic schedules. How do you handle the spontaneous emotional meltdowns or teach them those life skills (like resilience, reason, empathy etc)?
Have you found any games, books, apps or quick activities that work wonders? A quick google search renders so much content it's confusing - so I wonder how other parents approach this?
Desperately seeking some wisdom here! Thanks for the warm welcome and any tips you can share!
