Oh my god when will the frustration over trying to crawl end??!

I have an almost 9 month old and I swear he has been trying to crack crawling for close to two months now. He’s definitely better but oh my god he just can’t figure it out and his frustration is getting worse and worse.

You cannot put him down anymore, he just tries to crawl and bumps his head on something then cries or tries to crawl and belly flops and then inevitably shrieks an unholy shriek until you prop him back up.

I know they say to enjoy it because they’re a nightmare when they start to crawl but it’s surely better than this. He’s my second and my first cracked it within a day at 7 months, he started to lean forward and was off, that was it.

He’s sat unaided since he was 5 months, can roll over fine, stands on his legs fine so I’m not actually worried about him, just more my sanity! 😅😅😅

Anybody else going through this atm?

I can send sympathy – we were all relieved when DD2 finally cracked it, even DD1, whose toys were now fair game. Dealing with a crawling baby was much easier than listening to the frustration of one desperate to crawl! No real tips to help, I'm afraid, though.
